Rowana Slegers

Mijn naam is Rowana Slegers. Ik werk als multi-disciplinair kunstenaar. 
Zo nu en dan onder de naam Sitara Inanna, zo nu en dan onder de naam Rowana Slegers. Ik werk als fotografe en als kunst docent.

Intuïtief. Kunst is voor mij het leven.

Als ik ervaar, kan ik leven. Door ervaringen te leven doe ik inspiratie op. Maken is als ademen.

Ik onderzoek waarheden en werkelijkheden door mij te verhouden tot culturen, religies, geschiedenis en visies.

De natuur is de basis vanuit waar wordt geschapen.
En is dus ook voor mij de basis. Altijd is er natuur. En uit nature creeërt de mens. Al spelende word ik wijzer.

Ik werk met textiel, fotografie, video, dans, beweging, performance, geluid en digital art. In opdracht maak ik textile art, kostuums, geluid, covers voor cd's, lp's, ep's, fotografische art works en video's. 

Mijn hart en ziel wijzen mij de weg.

My name is Rowana Slegers. 
I work as a multi-dimensional artist. 
(From time to time under the name Sitara Inanna, from time to time under the name of my birth name Rowana Slegers)
I work as a photographer.
I work as an art teacher.

The soil from where I create is my intuition and improvisation. 

By experiencing, I live. I gain inspiration through living experiences. 

I explore my truth and reality by relating to 
cultures, religions, history and visions.

Nature is the base from which I create.

There is always nature. 

And by nature a person creates.

As Sitara Inanna and as Rowana, I work with textiles, photography, video, dance, movement, performance, sound and digital art (I might forget something...)

Too my intuition is the common thread for work in collaboration. I make costumes, sound, covers for CDs, LPs, EPs, photo portraits, nature photos, videos, etc. 

My heart and soul show me the way.
